THE FORN CREMAT IN HISTORY The Forn Cremat is an oven that often appears in the documents of the XIV and XV centuries and is preserved even today in the same place . The name " Forn Cremat " is recorded in some old documents from 1390. The Oven gave the name to the Street Cremat and later , in the XV century , the name of the street changes to Can Cavalleria when a family of Zaragoza settled in the building and started different work activities. The neighborhood where the furnace is located was once a dock, where the sea met the delta of the Torrent de Sa Riera, that divided the upper part from the lower part of the fortified city . The Torrent de Sa Riera is 59 km long, rises in Puigpunyent passes by Son Anglada , Establiments and enters Palma trough Plegadissa´s door ; it ran 3 km inside the walls and flowed into the harbor today (Plaça de la Reina) . In 1613 , due to a large floods that caused much destruction and death, its route was changed to the current course we see today. Old orchards, a cemetery and a botanical garden were surrounding the building where is currently the Forn Cremat , together with the church of Sant Jaume that was one of the first churches to be built in Mallorca in 1247 on the remains of one of the numerous Muslim mosques. One of the oldest hospitals in Spain is located right next to the oven and was founded by Conte D ' Empúries in the fifteenth century during a plague epidemic . The Plaça that is in front of Mercy Hospital was a cemetery called Camp Roig. The Big Tree - Ficus , in front of the hospital, was part of the botanical garden ; We are right next to a big old fellow travelersymbolizing the history of the city of Mallorca, full of ups and downs but with large roots and pillars that place it where is today. Forn Cremat famous throughout the city for its " Ensaimadas " made by the family Maqueda closed its doors in 2009 . On March 8, 2014 " Alicia Arduini " settled in the building and changed its name in " Toque De Queda " Old Delicatessen and Champagne Tavern Welcome to Mallorca and welcome to a place full of history . Welcome to Toque De Queda

Well, here is the information about the curfew.

The concept is an xarcuteria-style tapas bar where you can eat sausage and cheese tables and taste tapas.
Our cuisine is a mixture of various flavors from Italy, Spain and France.
It is a fresh and Mediterranean cuisine and we always try to have gourmet and unique products.
Each season we add different dishes to the menu after searching for new products in different countries.
The idea is to sit down and order different dishes to share.
Our bar is an old Arab oven with almost 1000 years of history between its walls and now it is a mini labirinto of rooms with different tables and environments where you can relax and taste our food.
The cavas are Catalan and come from the famous Xampañeria of Barcelona, located in Barceloneta.
The brand is Can Paixano, we have a sparkling semi-sweet pink (a must-try if or if), a white brut and a white brut natura.
We also work a bleeding always from Can Paixano made with semi-sweet pink cava.
